Paparazzi Sydney team building activity

This unique Paparazzi Sydney activity was created because the camera and visual based creative challenges of our Amazing Race are the most popular activities. To cut down on the walking time, this event is confined to a few square blocks. The benefit of this event is that it doesn’t require people to change clothes or get sweaty, so people can enjoy lunch or drinks afterwards without feeling like they need a shower.

What Happens during the Paparazzi Sydney team building activity?

Stage 1
We choose from a range of photography related activities depending on the course/location. For example, you may need to locate and photograph the group in front of a set of backgrounds or particular places of interest (directed by clues). Another example is re-creating some poses as precisely as possible. Other activities could be locating some shots that have been taken with key elements obscured and retake the photo with the missing piece in place.

 

Stage 2
Mini Murder Mystery (Cluedo): For this stage, we ask you to take a series of carefully crafted photographs of a heinous crime. Using some fun props, we give you some story ideas, example cast lists and a storyboard template.

 

Stage 3
Creativity & Collaboration: Teams are given a fun list of photos to compose and take. All teams genuinely love this activity. We ask you to do things like stage medical emergencies, romantic gestures, gold medal moments, interact with people in the area, mingle with tourists, pretend to be models on a high-end fashion shoot, pose as rock bands, take an "Oh What a Feeling" shot etc.

 

Different tasks require teamwork, strategy, creativity, observation, time management and problem-solving. The cameras are very easy to use, no particular photographic skill is required.

 

The benefit of this event is that it doesn’t require people to change clothes or get sweaty, so people can enjoy lunch or drinks afterwards without feeling like they need a shower. To cut down on the walking time, this event is confined to a few square blocks. There is a lot to do in the time allowed, so teams must also use their time wisely to complete all their tasks. Working in teams up to 8, we can start at your office, conference centre or a central location and finish at your venue or a popular watering hole for a well-earned drink.

Logistics

Minimum and maximum time required: This has been created as a short event, from 60 - 90 minutes. For a longer event, try the Amazing Race

Minimum and maximum group size: Suitable for groups of 12 - 100 people

Cost include : Digital cameras, memory stick, facilitation and equipment. Excludes cost related to finishing venue.
