The atmosphere is buzzing. Spectators are watching with anticipation. Competitors are feeling the last minute nerves. The countdown of the biggest race of the year begins. 

Teams engage in problems solving activities and compete in friendly games to accumulate Billy Cart parts.

You will need to construct and decorate your  Billy Cart.  Teams will be required to collaborate, regroup and strategise the race carefully.

Drivers are then chosen, uniforms and safety equipment supplied. There is only one thing left and that is a race around the track, competing for glory and the championship.

The Billy Carts can be donated at the end of the event

What happens during Billy Cart Derby Team Building Activity?

This team building program package includes: Uniformed facilitators, 5-6 rotations which include problem solving, communication, fun and interactive activities, music, billy carts to assemble, tools, decorations, scoring sheets, prizes for the winning team, first aid, energy treats, program brief, wet weather contingency plan, complete setup and pack down, pictures of the program and professional service from start to finish. Additional items such as bandannas, team shirts and memorabilia can be included.

1. Teams arrive at a set location of the clients choosing i.e. could be a park, oval, athletic venue, showground, carpark or office area
2. You will then be briefed on the event and split into smaller groups
3. Teams form nations and receive a national bandana
4. 5-6 interactive games are played where teams earn ‘Billy Cart’ pieces throughout their activities
5. Once all Billy Cart pieces are collected, carts can be built using the tools and decorationed to theme the cart i.e. national symbols and colours
6. Teams trial their cart in preparation for races against other teams
7. Heats and time trials are used to rank fastest carts in poll position for the final race.
8. Prizes for the winning team
9. Team photos will be sent to the client after the event
